how does the us constitution distribute powers

There are three branches to the government: Legislative (Congress), Executive (President), and Judicial (Supreme Court). Some people will tell you that power is distributed evenly between the three. And currently it probably is. But that is not how it was intended... the Constitution distributes the most power to the Legislative branch. The Executive branch was to be a little less powerful, and the Judicial branch should be the least powerful of the three. Hope this helps!!
