Answer: The value of  3 for x will make f(x)=g(x)

Make them equal  each other and solve for x.

x-2= -2x +7   Add 2x to both sides

+2x    +2x  

3x - 2= 7

      +2  +2

3x = 9

x = 3  

Check.

F(3) = 3-2          

f(3) = 1  

g(3) = -2(3) + 7

g(3) =  -6+ 7

g(3) = 1
