Answer: x= -10 ; y= -3

Explain: set x= 5 + 5y
=> 2x - 9y =7
<=> 2.(5+5y) -9y= 7
<=> 10 + 10y - 9y= 7
<=> y= -3

Replace y= -3 => x= 5+5y
<=> x= -10

To test you can replace x,y in the original system.‍♀️
