3 1/2 + 2/3

Multiply 2 by 3 and add it by 1 (for the first fraction)

6+1 / 2 + 2/3

7/2 + 2/3

Now we have different denominator, so we need to multiply the denominator together. 2* 3 = 6

Now we have 6. You need to divide 6 by 2 and add it by the numerator. do that for the second fraction

21/6 + 4/6

Same denominator just add the numerator

21+4/6

25/6

That's the answer.
