They think he’s doing ok and well about what’s going on. They understand that he’s doing better then ever tho he thinks he’s not doing well or not enough
Jem believes that what Atticus is true and that Atticus has won the case, but he doesn't know that as the man Atticus is defending is black he has already got the whole Jury and The Judge against him.
