if I’m correct use the slope −13 - 1 3 and a given point (−9,2) ( - 9 , 2 ) to substitute for x1 x 1 and y1 y 1 in the point-slope form y−y1=m(x−x1) y - y 1 = m ( x - x 1 ) , which is derived from the slope equation m=y2−y1x2−x1 m = y 2 - y 1 x 2 - x 1 .
