Whichever the point is, substitute the x and y values in the inequality and see if the inequality is valid.  If it is, the point is a solution, and vice versa.

For example, the point (0,0) is a solution, because 0+2(0)=0 < 4.  so the inequality is valid, so (0,0) is a solution.

if you have a graphing calculator it would help, but like mathmate said if you substitute the numbers in for x and y you should be able to see what the answer would be
