No she is not because 1 2/5 is a bigger number than 5/7.

1 2/5 in decimal form is 1.4, and 5/7 in decimal form is .714.

Answer:

She isn't correct.

Step-by-step explanation:

If you think about it, 5÷7 is the same thing as [tex]\frac{5}7}[/tex]. [tex]\frac{5}{7}[/tex] does not equal 1 2/5, since 1 2/5 is a mixed number.  Hope that helped!
