Each graph shows the same line, presumably y = -3/4 x + 2

Since our inequality is y < -3/4 x + 2 that means we want the shaded area to be below the line (that's what < means).  So we've narrowed down to A and D.

Since it says < and not ≤ we don't want to include the line itself in the solution region.  That's presumably what the dashes mean in figure D.
