Humans are naturally evil because of the fall of Adam and Eve. They could choose to sin or not to sin. Before they sinned they lived in the Garden of Eden. They also walked and talked with God. Interestingly, they were vegans as well. Unfortunately, (post Adam and Eve) we have to sin, no choice. Only God’s Holy Spirit can produce good works within us.
