Answer:1️⃣The value of y is 2.

It's saying 7 more than the value of 6y so it means we have to add 7 with 6y. So it's 6y+7

It equals to 8y+3 as it's saying 8y+3 is 6y+7

So➡️

6y+7=8y+3

8y-6y=7-3

2y=4

y=4/2

y=2

2️⃣1.4a-1.25+0.8a=1.75-0.3a+2

2.2a-1.25=3.75-0.3a

2.2a+0.3a=3.75+1.25

2.5a=5

a=5/2.5

a=2
