How?

A(rea) = B(ase) × H(eight)

Since the question gives us the formula (A = B × H), area (120 cm), and base (15 cm), it fills in some parts of the equation.

So really:

120 = 15 × H <-- This is the formula, but some parts are filled in

Which can be rearranged as:

H = 120 ÷ 15 <-- Solve this

H = 8
