The United States moved from neutrality to involvement in WWII for different reasons. The final straw was the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, the United States did not want to get involved, but when the Japanese attacked, they awoke a sleeping giant. Other causes of United States involvement, but not a main cause, was because the US was allied with Britain, France, the other allies.
