Faith, or religion, exists in the United States. A civil religion is when a nation has religion in it's present. An example of a civil religion is from one of the United States sayings, "God Bless America." Another one being "America is God's chosen nation today." Religion is one of the things that helped formed America. The founding father's used religion to help make laws and other things of that sort.
