The power of the Supreme Court to interpret the meaning of the constitution ?

This power is known as the power of Constitutional Interpretation. Combined with the Supreme Court's power of judicial review, it gives the Supreme Court the power to review legislation and lower court rulings to determine whether the constitution has been faithfully interpreted and whether the other branches have acted appropriately.
