Children who display impulsive or unruly behavior and experience high conflict with others are showing externalizing problems. Externalizing behaviors are problems that relate to the external environment. Due to the conflict of others within the external environment, the children are responding and reacting in a negative way due to what's around them. Externalizing problems and behaviors are found more in children rather than in adults.
