The three branches of government is the legislative, the executive, and the judicial. The legislative is where all the laws are made, executive which contains the president and all the cabinet members, and judicial contains all the courts and judges. Remember this:   "the legislative makes laws, executive carries the laws out, and the judicial punishes anyone who breaks them."
