C. Nostalgic
Feelings of nostolgia would cause the character to change the present in their own way and affect the future to be able to find reasons for the nostolgia. If there was a memory of a happy or good time in their life they would use that as a sort of base to make new memories and develop so that they could attempt to remake some of what they are longing for.
