Usan enlarged a rectangle with a height of 4 cm and length of 11 cm on her computer. the length of the new rectangle is 16.5 cm. find the height of the new rectangle.

You need only set up a proportion.

11 cm/16.5 cm = 4 cm / x    Cross multiply

11x = 16.5 * 4

11x = 66         ' Divide by 11

x = 66/11

x = 6

The expanded height is 6 cm Answer
