In diatomic molecule, the distance between the centers of two atoms is 1.22 [tex]\AA[/tex].

Converting [tex]\AA[/tex] to m:

Since, 1  [tex]\AA[/tex]=[tex]10^{-10} m[/tex]

Thus,

1.22 [tex]\AA[/tex]=[tex]1.22\times 10^{-10} m[/tex]

Now, Converting m to feet:

1 m=3.28 feet

Thus,

[tex]1.22\times 10^{-10} m=1.22\times 10^{-10}\times 3.28 feet=4\times 10^{-10}feet[/tex]

Therefore, distance in feet is [tex]4\times 10^{-10}[/tex]
