Aristotle
Aristotle was more practical, scientific, and realistic. He approached problems by thinking through the evidence. In this manner, he explored all possibilities and as many examples as possible before reaching a conclusion. This is called inductive reasoning, and it formed the foundation of the Western scientific method.
