Easy, using [tex] \frac{y1-y2}{x1-x2} [/tex] to find the intercept:

[tex] \frac{-4-5}{-1-2} [/tex]=

[tex] \frac{-9}{-3} [/tex]=3

This is your slope. m=3

To find y=mx+b form

-4=3(-1)+b

-4=-3+b

-1=b

y=3x-1 in y=mx+b form
