the equation is 3a-b.
what you are given is a=4 & b=6.
so you will plug 4 for a and plug 6 in for b.
the new equation is:
3(4)-(6)
3*4-6
12-6
6
the answer is 6

Okay. The equation is 3a-b. A=4, b=6, Well, that's not that hard. You will then plug the numbers in to the original equation.
3(4)-6
12-6
6
The answer to this equation would be six.
