Hey there!

Basically a “ratio” is the outcome of expressions in mathematics. Whereas, “rate” is the 2 amount of different units that’s being compared as your given ratios

Example of the two:

Ratio:

4:2

= 4 / 2

= 4 ÷ 2

Rate:

60 second per minute

= 60 seconds / 1

= 1 minute
