I believe each angle is 58°, which would mean the angle between DFE is also 58°

If DG is a bisector of angle FDE, then by definition of angle bisector, angle FDG is 29 also, making angle FDE 58 degrees.  Also, if FD is congruent to FE, by the Isosceles Triangle Theorem, angle D is congruent to angle E.  Therefore, if angle D measures 58, angle E measures 58 also.  By the Triangle Angle-sum Theorem, 180-58-58 = angle DFE, which is 64
