The actions of the Khmer rouge in Cambodia and Hitler's actions in Polandan both showed an ideology with politically and racially motivated acts. Although they occurred in different places and under very different circumstances both events were similar in how political/ideological and racially motivated acts of violence can both constitute as genocide.
