Mrs. Patel had $75.60 left when she exited the supermarket because 25% + 12% = 37%. When you take 37% of 120, (.37)(120), you get $44.4. That is how much she spent. Lastly, to get how she has now you must do 120 - 44.4 to get a grand total of $75.60. Hope this helps!
